29 Sep 09 Rebid RFP for Destiny Foundation grant

HSN is offering two technical assistance workshops that will address the application process for this RFP. All prospective applicants must attend one of the following workshops:

1. Wednesday, September 30, 2009, 8:30 – 10:00 a.m.
2. Friday, October 2, 2009, 8:30 – 10:00 a.m.

The workshops will be held at the Heart of Florida United Way, 1940 Traylor Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32804.

Attendance is mandatory for all prospective applicants. Please RSVP to rfp {at} hsncfl(.)org for one of the workshops.

Application timeline:

1. Grant applications are due 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2009.
2. The review committee meets the week of October 26, 2009, to make selections.
3. Awards will be announced on October 30, 2009.
4. Grant implementations are expected to begin November 16, 2009.
