Children’s Services Manager
Harbor House of Central Florida seeks an experienced Manager for its year-round shelter based child care and afterschool programs. Harbor House serves children from infant to through pre-kindergarten in its child care program. The afterschool program serves school aged children. The capacity of the current Children’s Center is 16 infants/children. Harbor House will soon complete construction of a 10,600 square foot Education Center that will offer expanded child care and afterschool services beginning in Winter 2010 to serve 60-70 children (30+ in childcare and 30+ in afterschool programs). Qualified applicant must have completed the forty (40) hour Introduction to Child Care Training Course, National Child Development Associate Degree (CDA) credential and director credential. At least one year experience as on site director is required. The Children’s Services Manager is responsible for overall operation of the Education Center and onsite services for children in shelter. Housekeeper: Fulltime (1) and Part-time (1) Position
Harbor House is seeking a full-time and part-time Housekeeper to ensure the maintenance of safe and well-functioning agency facilities for survivors of domestic violence, including their children and the agency staff. The onsite facilities include three residential buildings, a childcare center and two administrative/office areas. The Housekeeper is not responsible for the supervision of any other employees. S/he may supervise volunteers. The part-time position includes a 15-20 work scheduled that includes weekends. The part-time position includes a 40 hour weekday work schedule.
