2010 Legislative Agenda Update
The following message comes from Rita Clark at the Miami Coalition for the Homeless:
I want to share some great news with all of you – the Hate Crimes Legislation (HB 11) has now passed thru the Senate (SB 506) and will go forward to the Governor for his signature. We had a lot of Bill sponsors from across Florida and we want to acknowledge their support of our legislative agenda this year. The Homelessness and Affordable Housing legislation also looks very promising; and I’ll have more to report on this legislation as the week unfolds in Tallahassee.
