Volunteer for Orange County’s Family Day in Bithlo–November 6, 2010
HSN is working with Orange County Government for its October 30-November 6 Week of the Family. The theme is: “2010 Endangered Species: The Family”. In previous years, this week was filled with lots of opportunities for families to have fun and free activities, attend workshops, and gain access to services that help families remain stable and successful in these troubled times. This year, we are holding the 8th Annual Orange County Family Day in Bithlo on Saturday, November 6. With the lack of services and general suffering of the residents of Bithlo, Orange County asked HSN to bring some of the services we normally gather together at a Project Homeless Connect event to this area.
Time: 10:00am-2:00pm
Location: Bithlo Community Park, 18501 Washington Avenue, Orlando 32820
Expected population: approximately 1000 folks, including households with children.
In order to make this event a success, WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! If you would like to volunteer, please fill out the Volunteer Registration Form.
