August CoC Meeting – Fall Tune Up!
Our August Continuum of Care meeting is focused on tuning up program performance as we look forward to the 2011 CoC competition, the fall influx of homeless clients and new grant opportunities. Topics to be covered include:
Bed Utilization Rates – how does your agency measure up?
Joel Remigio, HMIS Program Manager, will be presenting bed utilization rates for all the shelter beds in our Continuum of Care, followed by a discussion on the implications of the data – specifically relating to our referral processes, program performance measurement and future funding targets.
Documenting Homelessness – the client’s not homeless unless the file shows it!
Olivette Carter, Grants Performance Manager, will present a workshop on documentation of homelessness, with examples of “issues” gleaned from the first seven months of monitorings that she has completed. Groups will compete with chocolate for the winners!
HSN’s 2010 CoC Report Card
Cathy Jackson, Executive Director, will review HUD’s report on our Continuum of Care performance – there’s a lot for our region to be proud of, but there are some glaring issues to be addressed.
