Central Care Mission is a men’s long-term residential facility designed to help transform men’s lives by addressing drug, alcohol and destructive lifestyle abuse. By transforming “the man”, we transform the family and transform the community.
Central Care Mission is now hiring a Business Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will implement and provide strategic support of the Mission’s directives. Reporting directly to the President, the Operations Manger will manage the daily operations of the facility and its business activities, improve efficiencies, and position the Mission for growth and expansion. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic and innovative business professional with a passion for work with men in recovery from addictions. A strong track record of achieving positive social impact through application of business skills in the social services field is preferred.
Job responsibilities include (without limitation): Oversight of facility maintenance, coordinating and monitoring client activities, training, supervising and instructing staff, regulatory compliance, enforcement of facility rules, accounting of daily expenses and client payroll, general office organization, database entries and updates, event management, evaluating applicants, managing admissions data, running operational reports, monitoring charitable contributions database, presenting professional image to internal and external clients, facilitating and maintaining positive relationships with clients, donors, volunteers and vendors.
Qualified candidate must have the following skills and abilities:
- Strong organizational skills with sensitivity to meeting established time frames and deadlines
- Proven management and leadership experience (training experience is desirable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow procedures and systems to timely accomplish objectives
- Analytical skills to organize data and information
- Ability to work with minimal direction; to make independent judgments and/or decisions and to discern when action of a higher level is required
- Ability to prioritize activities involving clients in recovery and business operations
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively and compassionately with clients
- Working knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Office, Excel, database management) and general office equipment
- Ability to function competently and calmly while multi-tasking on time sensitive matters
- Basic accounting skills
- Professional attitude and demeanor
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends
- Valid Driver’s license
